Hi I’m glad that our paths have crossed.
My name is Lenna Green and I have been teaching and designing quilts for over 20 years. My passion for quilt making began when I was still living at home with my parents as a child. I was always wanting to make things and I had a particular obsession with textiles and fabrics. This obsession lead to studying at a tertiary level and I acquired a degree in Education, majoring in Design and Technology.
After graduating and teaching in high schools for a few years I took time out to raise my 3 children. It was at this time that my first business “Little Green Cottage” emerged and I was able to put my design skills to further use. My second business “Stitching Cow” soon emerged after recognizing that I was able to reach a wider audience and be of benefit to more sewing enthusiasts via the Internet.
My quilt making journey has been an interesting and enjoyable one. What started as a hobby has now become my full time career. I look forward to sharing with you my passion for quilt making and hope we become good friends.
